Goal Setting philosophy made simple!
The ON TRACK Map Goal Setting Philosophy
- Goal setting is a progressive, yet cyclical process
- Flexibility and structure is very much needed
- Well-being is foundational to success
Did you ever notice how there is much more to success that getting from A – B ?
Most of use are taught that goal setting is a linear process and progress should be happening in a straight forward line.
But like you might have experienced for yourself, the reality of goal setting, as well as personal development, is that it is much more of a cyclical nature.
How this looks like is that you may have be making a lot of progress but then all of a sudden, “something happens, life gets in your way” and you find yourself thrown off track. Perhaps you even loose what motivated you in the first place.
What this means is that we need both structure and flexibility to help us navigate through the various stages that we go through, when we have set out on the journey that it is to reach our goals.
We also need to attend to our fundamental human needs as foundation to success.
So whether you are at the beginning of your journey, or you have been going for a while but all of a sudden feel yourself getting demotivated, the ON TRACK Map will help you get back ON TRACK with your commitment.
In other words, the ON TRACK Map is designed to help you commit, as well as recommit to your goals, so that you get to experience the personal fulfillment that it is to reach your goals.
